Since opening our doors 30 years ago, Paint Creek Center for the Arts has continued to serve as one of greater Rochester’s most important cultural and community resources. PCCA is a regional nonprofit art center dedicated to enhancing life in the region by promoting, encouraging and creating opportunities to participate in and appreciate the arts.
Arts and culture enrich the quality of life for everyone. They touch our lives and influence our decisions every day from the clothes we wear, the car we drive and the entertainment we enjoy. Additionally, arts and culture enhance economic development both locally and statewide adding over ½ billion dollars to Michigan’s economy through expenditures alone.
I am continually amazed by the efforts and contributions of those committed to PCCA advancing its mission through exhibitions, studio art classes, outreach programs, the Regional Arts & Culture Awards and of course, the Art & Apples Festival. Whereas, our many volunteers are the core of the Festival, our members are the heart and soul of the organization.
I strongly encourage you to visit the PCCA Web site and become a member today. Never has it been more essential to ensure that PCCA and the arts are a vital part of the greater Rochester region’s strategy for creating a brighter future. It all begins with you.
