In 1965, a group of artists founded the acclaimed Art & Apples Festival which has subsequently grown into one of the Top 35 Festivals in the Nation! Seventeen years after its inception, the founding artists took proceeds from the festival and established Paint Creek Center for the Arts (PCCA), a non-profit art center located in Downtown Rochester with 501(c)3 status. Dedicated to community art enrichment and creating opportunities for artists, PCCA provides a year-round exhibition schedule of fine art from emerging and established Michigan artists, studio art classes for children and adults, and community outreach programs. Throughout the years, the Art & Apples Festival remains PCCA’s principle fundraiser.
