Student Internships |

PCCA offers internships year-round in marketing, public relations, communications, event management and more. Internships are unpaid. PCCA will work with any requirements needed to earn college credit for the internship. (If you play your cards right, you might get to drive a golf cart!)

Marketing Internship
The ideal student will be of junior or senior status and majoring in PR, marketing, communications, or related fields. The intern will work closely with the Marketing Director and staff to: write press releases, work with the media, assist with special projects and events, create a weekly e-newsletter, layout and writing for printed materials, web updates, social media and more. The student must have excellent writing skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Explorer. Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoShop skills are suggested. The candidate should have a background or interest in learning about arts management, fundraising, event planning and public relations. Creative thinking, multitasking and teamwork are important. Events Internship
The ideal student will be of junior or senior status and majoring in public relations, marketing or communications with a strong interest in event planning and management. The special events intern will work closely with the Events Manager and staff to: assist with logistical elements for various events, attend steering committee meetings, plan and execute private rental events, manage databases and other administrative tasks related to events. The student must have excellent writing skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Explorer. Creative thinking, multitasking and teamwork are important.
