Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How often does Summer Camp meet?

Camp meets from 9AM-5PM, Monday through Friday, during the week of your selected registration.

  2. What kind of art is covered?

All campers will get the chance to explore painting, drawing, ceramics, and mixed media projects.

  3. What is included with my registration?

Your registration includes childcare from 9AM – 5PM, all art supplies needed, trips to the park, and a special event or guest for the week.

  4. Do I need to provide anything?

Campers need to bring a snack, lunch, water bottle, and be ready to have fun!

  5. Do you offer Before and After Care?

Yes, PCCA does offer Before and After Care for children currently enrolled in Summer Camp. Before Care is offered from 7:30 am until the start of camp at 9 am for an additional $25 per camper per week. After Care is offered immediately following the end of camp at 5 pm until 6 pm for an additional $25 per camper per week. Before and After Care is only valid for the same weeks of camp enrollment. Your child is not required to attend all five days if it does not fit into your schedule.

Before and After Care will be cancelled if fewer than three campers are registered for them. Please pre-register your camper at least a week in advance. PCCA may not be able to accept day-of care registrations.

  6. Is my child ready to attend camp?

All campers must be able to understand basic English commands, be between the ages of 5-14, and be able to handle being in a 1:10 ratio (teacher to students)

  7. Camp Payments

All camp fees are due at time of registration.

  8. Cancellation Policy

PCCA makes every effort to maintain the schedule of our camps. However, we reserve the right to cancel any camp not meeting minimum enrollment, combine classes, and substitute faculty when necessary. Camp cancellations are decided 2 business days prior to camp start date.

  9. Refunds & Credits

Fees are 100% refundable if PCCA cancels a camp due to insufficient enrollment. Refunds (less a $25 processing fee) will be given ONLY when a registrant withdraws from a class at least one week prior to their first camp session. NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER THE TWO WEEK ADVANCE DEADLINE. In addition, there are no refunds for missed camp sessions. Memberships are non-refundable, as they are a tax deductible donation to PCCA.

  10. What are your covid policies?

PCCA will match Michigan’s state guidelines for private businesses at the time of camp.
