ART for kids

What is ART for Kids?

Paint Creek Center for the Arts (PCCA) is pleased to announce another art opportunity for our creative Rochester Community Schools K-12 students. Sponsored by Ascension Providence Hospital, the Art for Kids art contest invites young artists to create and submit artwork intended to help sick kids.

Did you know art is proven to help sick people feel better? Patients heal faster, deal with pain better, and are not as stressed when they are surrounded by art!

Ascension Providence Hospital will display winning submissions in high-traffic areas used by children. Because of the location of the display, artists should propose work that meets the theme of “Feeling Good”. Try to create work that feels friendly, calming, and encouraging and is appropriate for all ages.
