Paint Creek Center for the Arts is currently accepting exhibition proposals from emerging and established artists based in the Midwest region. PCCA presents 6 to 8 exhibitions per year in our Main Gallery, from two-person exhibitions to large group exhibitions. Aside from our annual exhibitions such as our Student & Faculty Show, High School Scholarship Exhibition, and our Holiday Art Market, we are seeking diversity in our upcoming exhibition calendar year as well as showcasing artwork that will educate and enrich the community.
PCCA’s exhibition committee, which includes artists, curators and art educators, meet throughout the year to review entries. The committee only reviews submitted proposals that are completed with all the required information. Please indicate in your proposal which available time slot you are applying for if you have a preference. Proposals without a run time will still be considered.
Artists who wish to exhibit their work as a group must submit individual entries. Please make a note in your letter of interest the name(s) of the other artists you wish to show with. Works submitted for consideration must be available for exhibition. At this time, we do not consider proposals for traveling exhibitions or submissions from outside curators. In the event that we decide to work with an outside curator, those arrangements will be initiated by PCCA.
Artists are responsible for covering expenses for transporting/shipping works to and from the gallery, attending the exhibition reception and participating in a gallery talk. All works must be ready-to-hang and presented in a professional manner. PCCA will curate and implement overall exhibition design (including artwork placement, signage and lighting); promote the exhibition using postcards, social media, and press outreach; and insure the retail value of each work while on display in the gallery.
Throughout the year PCCA does post calls for entries for juried exhibitions. If you wish to submit your work to a juried show, please fill out the form below and write “call for entries”.
