Giving Tuesday

Each year Paint Creek Center for the Arts (PCCA) participates in Giving Tuesday, a global day of unity and giving designed to support non-profits of all sizes. Giving Tuesday will take place on December 2, 2025. This year, PCCA will split donations raised on Giving Tuesday evenly between their Sisters of the Brush Scholarship and Tim Tenbusch Memorial Fund.

The Tim Tenbusch Memorial Fund honors late artist and PCCA student Tim Tenbusch, whose passion for pastels has left a lasting impact on the community. The Fund provides lower registration costs for an annual pastel workshop taught by master pastelists.

The Sisters of the Brush Scholarship sustains art appreciation and education for our younger artists by providing free or reduced cost art classes to K-12 grade youth in the community.

Thank you for helping us reach our $2,000 goal for 2025!

Those who donated to PCCA for Giving Tuesday (minimum $5.00 donation) were entered into a raffle for gift cards to BLICK Art Materials. Thanks to a generous donation from BLICK Art Materials.

While Giving Tuesday has passed for 2025, there are still opportunities to donate to PCCA all year. Select one of the links below if you’d like to donate to the Tim Tenbusch Memorial Fund, the Sisters of the Brush Scholarship, or make a general donation to PCCA.

Previous Campaigns

In 2023, our Giving Tuesday Campaign received $2,181 in donations and $1000 donation matches to make improvements to our award-winning art gallery. With the funds, we were able to purchase custom display risers, clear acrylic covers for our pedestals, and new light bulbs to breathe new life into the gallery space. Thanks to your support, our gallery has been able to expand its programming and was voted Best Art Gallery once more by Hour Detroit Magazine in 2025.
