Saturday, September 7: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 8: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Since 1965, the Art & Apples Festival® has transformed the 30-acre Rochester Municipal Park into one of the nation’s top fine art fairs, bringing together 200+ fine art exhibitors, a wide range of food trucks and tents, stage entertainment and art demonstrations, and art activity stations for the three-day weekend.

The Art & Apples Festival® is a program of Paint Creek Center for the Arts- a regional, nonprofit art center located in downtown Rochester, Michigan- and is the arts organization’s annual fundraiser.

PCCA works year-round to advance its mission to celebrate and support creativity in our community by providing opportunities for all to learn, create, experience, and appreciate the arts.

Patrons are invited to experience everything the festival has to offer; from the artwork of our talented artists, the sights and sounds of the Main Stage; to the fresh apple treats and mouth-watering food vendors found around the park, and the creative experiences of the Kids Art Zone and Creation Station- there is something for everyone at the Art & Apples Festival®.

A free shuttle bus to the festival and free parking available on Saturday (9 am – 8 pm) and Sunday (9 am – 4:30 pm) from Rochester High School (1361 Walton Blvd.)

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an entry fee?

While the Art & Apples Festival remains a free event, a $5 donation is suggested at entry to help support Paint Creek Center for the Arts (the organizing non-profit behind the Art & Apples Festival) as well as the other non-profits welcoming you at each entrance.

For more information about the Gate Groups and where your donation goes, please visit the “Gate Groups & Partner Organizations” page.

Are pets allowed?

While we’d love to meet your furry friend some other time, pets are not allowed in the park during special events such as the Art & Apples Festival per the City of Rochester. Rochester Police will be on-site to enforce this ordinance for the safety and well being of all festival patrons and participants. The Art & Apples Festival draws a crowd of 60,000-80,000 people each year- that is a lot of eyes looking up at beautiful artwork and live music and not paying attention to your four-legged friend down on the ground.

For more information about this special ordinance, please contact the City of Rochester via their website, rochestermi.org

Is this event kid-friendly?

Absolutely! Please visit our Kids Art Zone for free art-making activities, live art demonstrations and enjoy age-appropriate amenities like bounce houses, face painting and more.
