Summer Camps

Paint Creek Center for the Arts (PCCA) hosts fine art camps for ages 4-13 each summer in June and July. Our week long, themed art camps focus on the exploration of art material through hands on guided learning, interactive art play and skill development. We think art camp should be educational, but most importantly fun!

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Is my child ready to attend camp?

All campers must be pottery trained, be able to understand basic English commands, and be able to handle being in a 1:10 ratio (teacher to students).

  2. Do I need to bring anything?

Parents should provide a morning and afternoon snack for each camper. Full day campers should also bring a lunch and water bottles. Lunchtime is only for campers who are in attendance from 12PM – 1PM. Campers should come with positive energy, creative minds, and always DRESS for MESS!

  3. Camp Payments

All camp fees are due at time of registration.

  4. Cancellation Policy

PCCA makes every effort to maintain the schedule of our camps. However, we reserve the right to cancel any camp not meeting minimum enrollment, combine classes, and substitute faculty when necessary. Camp cancellations are decided 2 business days prior to camp start date.

  5. Refunds and Credits

Fees are 100% refundable if PCCA cancels a camp due to insufficient enrollment. Refunds (less a $25 processing fee) will be given ONLY when a registrant withdraws from a class at least two weeks prior to their first camp session. NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER THE TWO WEEK ADVANCE DEADLINE. In addition, there are no refunds for missed camp sessions. Memberships are non-refundable, as they are a tax deductible donation to PCCA.

  6. Schedule Adjustments

Camp enrollment is limited and we make every effort to maintain our camp capacity. Camp schedule adjustments must be made two weeks or more prior to your registered camp start date.

  7. Late Pick-Up Fee Policy

A late pick-up fee of $5 will be charged for preschool campers picked up after 1pm and after 5pm for full day campers. Camp starts and ends promptly. If campers are picked up late multiple times in a week then the after-care programming cost will be added to your tuition.

  8. Before & After Care

PCCA offers both Before Care and After Care each day of camp. Our Before Care starts is from 7AM – 9AM. While After Care is from 5PM – 6PM. Each session individually costs $25 or $50 for both Before and After Care per child. Make sure you purchase the Before or After Care that aligns with the week that your child is attending camp.

  9. What is Water Day?

Every Thursday from 3:45 – 4:30ish Campers have a water day where they get to soak up the sun with a variety of water activities. Students MUST wear shoes while doing this and should bring an extra pair of clothes to change into afterwards.
