Summer Camps

Paint Creek Center for the Arts (PCCA) hosts fine art camps for ages 4-13 each summer in June and July. Our week long, themed art camps focus on the exploration of art material through hands on guided learning, interactive art play and skill development. We think art camp should be educational, but most importantly fun!

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Where to go?

All of our camps are held in our art studios located in the downtown PCCA building. Camp drop-off & pick-up takes place in our camp studios (unless otherwise noted by staff, camp instructor or signage). When you arrive, go to the front desk and a friendly face can help direct you to the correct studio.

  2. What do we do at camp?

Daily camp activities include guided and themed art lessons, outdoor/indoor recess, and snacktime. Some camps may include storytime, play practice, onsite gallery visits, group projects, outdoor art lessons, etc.

  3. Do I need to bring anything?

Parents should provide a morning and afternoon snack for each camper. Full day campers should also bring a lunch. Lunchtime is only for campers who are in attendance from 12PM – 1PM. Campers should come with positive energy, creative minds, & always DRESS for MESS!

  4. Is my child ready to attend camp?

PCCA makes every attempt to provide a welcoming and engaging environment for our children. Children ages 4 – 13 may attend camp in their designated age group. All campers must be 100% potty trained. Naptime is not included.

  5. Camp Payments

All camp fees are due at time of registration.

  6. Cancellation Policy

PCCA makes every effort to maintain the schedule of our camps. However, we reserve the right to cancel any camp not meeting minimum enrollment, combine classes, and substitute faculty when necessary. Camp cancellations are decided 2 business days prior to camp start date.

  7. Refunds and Credits

Fees are 100% refundable if PCCA cancels a camp due to insufficient enrollment. Refunds (less a $25 processing fee) will be given ONLY when a registrant withdraws from a class at least one week prior to the first camp session. NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER THE ONE WEEK ADVANCE DEADLINE. In addition, there are no refunds for missed camp sessions. Memberships are non-refundable, as they are a tax deductible donation to PCCA.

  8. Schedule Adjustments

Camp enrollment is limited and we make every effort to maintain our camp capacity. Camp schedule adjustments must be made a week or more prior to your registered camp start date.
