Mary McCarthy Anderson Donors

About the Fund

Mary McCarthy Anderson was an attorney, accomplished artist, devoted member of the Sisters of the Brush, and a long time student of Paint Creek Center for the Arts.

Originally, the Mary McCarthy Anderson Fund was used to provide an annual $1,000 scholarship for aspiring college-bound students graduating from a local high school. Twelve scholarships were awarded to talented high school seniors between 2005 and 2017. Today, the Mary McCarthy Anderson Fund provides funding for disadvantaged and low-income youth students to participate in creative art courses here at Paint Creek Center for the Arts.
